You are invited to register for the 5^th International EDHF Symposium by using the online registration form.

You may also print out the pdf-formatted form and send it to: Tampere Conference Service Ltd, Hämeenkatu 13 B, FI-33100 Tampere, Finland, fax: +358-3-222 6440. Your registration becomes valid only when the registration fee has been paid.

The number of participants is limited due to space limitations in the conference lecture hall. We recommend that you to register early to avoid disappointment.

Booking in advance for social programme is required for organizational reasons.

Payment must be received not later than the closing of banking hours on said date.

The registration fee does not cover insurance or accommodation. Travel insurance is recommended by the organizers. Please, reserve your room directly from the hotel with reference EDHF2008. Please note that the congress hotel has a limited number of rooms available. Accommodation.

Terms of payment

All payments should be made in advance in Euros. After receiving your registration form and payment, Tampere Conference Service will send you a personal confirmation letter by e-mail (or post).

Preferred method of payment is

Credit card: VISA, Master Card or Eurocard are accepted
Clearly state your credit card details on the registration form. If the given information is wrong or the credit company does not give authorization to charge your account, then payment and your registration cannot be processed. Your registration becomes valid only after the whole registration fee has been paid.

Bank transfer is an alternative method of payment
Make sure to provide the participant's name in the bank transfer details . Please note that all payments should be free of bank handling charges.

Note! Invoices will be sent only upon request (edhf2008@tampereconference.fi). An invoicing fee of 15 euros will be charged.
Bank drafts as well as personal, company or traveller's cheques cannot be accepted.

Letter of Confirmation/Receipt

After receiving the registration form and payments Tampere Conference Service will send you a personal confirmation letter by e-mail (or post).

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation of any kind has to be made in writing (e-mail) to Tampere Conference Service Ltd (edhf2008@tampereconference.fi). Please note that for organizational reasons, refunds will not be returned until after the Conference. All refunds will be made at the exchange rate of that date. The organizers or the Conference Secretariat cannot be held responsible for a loss caused by alterations in exchange rates.

Cancellation of Participation

Registration fees are refundable with a deduction of EUR 100 to cover administrational expenses provided that the participation is cancelled by 15 March 2008; 50 % cancellation fee will apply for cancellations made between 15 March 2008 and 30 April 2008. No refund will be provided for cancellations received after 30 April 2008. There will be no refund for no-shows. An insurance which covers for the loss of paid registration fees is recommended by the organizers.  

For organizational reasons, refunds will be made after the conference. For refund, please provide detailed information of your bank account number.
